…the Omron HEM 432CN is a very good choice. I found it very neatly packaged and the operation is very simple. I find it reassuring that the pumping mechanism is based on squeezing, I feel it will definitely outlast a battery operated pump, this also makes it lighter... It does use AA batteries, and they last quite a while..

…It is very easy to use and gives very consistent results that compare well with my physicians. It is also very small and slips easily into its carry bag which is no problem to transport back and forth from work …The quality of the unit and cuff seem excellent and the hose and bulb are of a professional grade rubber. …press one button to turn it on and then it only takes a 5 or 6 pumps on the bulb to get it pumped up. It bleeds off the pressure on its own, as it is measuring, and the readout is easy to see.

I'm happy with this product because it's accurate and easy to use. I think it's superior to many other blood pressure cuffs in that its batteries last very long compared to those with an automatic pump. The instruction booklet was helpful in interpreting the results and taking single readings with an ounce of skepticism, since readings can be temporarily off due to stress or other factors.
